The Chavez' travelled to Plano, TX this weekend to see the Gholsons, who were in town for another friend's wedding. In short, they are doing great. Kerri (not in this picture) is teaching Montessori and Kris is coding Java in Virginia (Richmond) now that he is retired from the Coast Guard.
It was like no time had passed at all, except of course when it came to sully. I was having full conversations with him. It was really a treat to see how he has grown up; and even better to get a preview of the kinds of things i will have to deal with in about a year when Adolfo reaches his age. Sully had a much better command of his emotions.
Leaving them was sad; I hope it won't be so long before i get to see them again.
